Biid, a sexual fetish?

Why do people think that biid relates to sexual thing?

I don't know, but I can only guess.

Of which is, as I've noticed, is that some of those with biid can only begin to verbalize their innermost desire, and constant inkling, at or around the age of where sexuality often comes into play (i.e. puberty, soon before, during, and soon after).



When I say verbalize, I don't mean to actually speak about it with some, rather I mean, finally being able to recognize it in words to themselves.

However, I'd argue, that it is not because of a sexual thing that those with biid are able to finally verbalize their feelings, simply because of the time period in which it occurred. If that were the case, many people also choose their future jobs during that time (some, actually accomplish getting that job). Than that too, should also be considered a sexual things,or even a fetish. But yet, it seems that it is not considered as such.

Also those emotions started way before that age for quite a few, if not all.

Rather, they are finally able to find out for themselves who they actually are, this is also in the age area where so many start to drift from the parents, they desire to be independant, they desire to eb their ownself, rather than emulating their parents. Again, I don't see that being called a sexual thing, at least publicly.

Another reason, I suppose why some consider biid a sexual thing, is that indeed some do act and behave that way.

Well, I guess it's another did chicken or the egg come first thing.

Again, I'd argue, that the desire for the impairment was long before those actions. And that those actions are currently the only way to attempt quell such emotions. Other than acquiring said impairment. Thus I'd state that is a, rather poor, and ineffective attempt at treatment for biid. There are better and actually effective treatment for biid, but nigh everyone denies to administer it, even though it would be life saving for quite a few with bid. I mean life (saving), in both senses of the term of that being that they wouldn't become decease, and that they cold actually live a life for the first time in their life.
